Word Up Wednesday: KEEP AT IT!

Hello! and Welcome back to my W.U.W. Blog. It's very possible that the only person that will see this Blog is me and possibly my best friend Jonsean AKA Johnny Tsunami lol.

SIDE BAR: Shout out to my girl for supporting me so hard!

And the MVP in my life, my Husband Abai Peace.

Ok! So, yesterday I posted a reel briefly discussing why it's important to keep moving forward towards the vision you have over your life. Simply because eventually you will look up and look back and realize how much progress you're making or have already made. You will also start to see the lack of struggle in particular areas. Things that seemed "far fetch" become your norm and your goals list will have to adjust because you've crossed so many out.

HOW DO I KNOW THIS? HOW CAN I BE SO SURE? IT SOUNDS NICE! BUT, EASIER SAID THAN DONE.

I hear you! The idea is poetic but let's be real. Bills have to be paid. Being disregarded or failing over and over again is not fun. On top of the other circumstances that may be your current reality. Trust me, understood. But, hear me out.

In October of 2017 I decided to leave my hometown of Columbus, Ohio, which meant leaving everything I knew and everyone that created comfort around me. I had to go because the vision God gave me was bigger than my location. If you didn't know, blessings are locational so, sometimes in order to reap your harvest you may have to leave some people and places behind.

I drove cross country to Las Vegas Nevada where I commuted to Los Angeles for a year and a half. Upon arrival, I knew L.A. was my land of blessing but, I decided I couldn't afford it (that's a story for another day). After about 3-4 months, I got a LA agent and decided not to tell them I wasn't a local in fear that they wouldn't sign me. The commuting began and by November of 2019 I was so burned out and broke that I decided to pack my car up and head back to OHIO because I just couldn't do it anymore.

SIDE BAR: If you didn't know, I am an Actress & Model. I also want you to know that during your journey and process to greatness and elevation wanting to quit and even quitting a few times is absolutely normal, as long as when you wake up! You get back to it!

So I packed up my car, paid my last months rent and left. I didn't even stay the rest of the month, lol I was ready to go! But, God opened up a door for me to sleep on an air mattress in Downtown Los Angeles. In December 2019, I booked two major music videos as the leading actress and in January 2020 I booked a CVS BEAUTY ad, which can still be seen in CVS today. Since then I've had many success and Fast forward to Wednesday January 25, 2023 I am recapping a time I almost gave up.

I had to make this short and sweet because this story could go on for days! This is all to say, Keep At It! Yes, there's struggle, yes there's a voice that makes you think you're crazy everyone hears that voice. Yes, some things seem far fetched but the more you keep stepping in that direction, the less distant they become.

Trust what you know you have, and keep going because your "SUDDENLY" is on the horizon.

Thank you for reading this Blog! I pray you are encouraged and excited about what's in store for your future but please remember to enjoy your present, it's the only true moment you have in the temporal world.

YOU DESERVE TO LIVE A GREAT LIFE!

This is inspiring to hear friend! Thank you for the shout out I believe in your work and will keep cheering you on forever and eva lol! I take this blog today and I am applying it to my current thoughts. I have had an increase in my students this week even though they are drop in children meaning they are temporary, it still motivates me to keep going inspite of any circumstances that could distract me to think otherwise. I consistantly use your story as a strength of bravery, courage, and perseverance. To see how you keep at it and forever evolving is mind blowing every year. Reaping the Harvest is a gift from being a doer of th…
