The Waiting.

What's up beautiful people! And welcome back to another "Word Up Wednesday"!

You're mid week dose of inspo.

Today I want to elaborate on "The Waiting" period.

wait·ing

/ˈwādiNG/

noun

  1. the action of staying where one is or delaying action until a particular time or until something else happens.

  2. official attendance at court.

I think it's safe to say many of us are waiting on something! Now, what that something is will vary based on many variables but waiting is waiting and truth be told, it's not always the most exciting process to be apart of.

From personal experience I can candidly say that my life has been filled with waiting.

Waiting on approval, waiting on opportunities, waiting on the bus lol. Yes, I have had my fill on waiting but this particular waiting period hits a little different because my world has been shifted on many spectrums. You see, anytime I've had to wait on the Lord in the past my life's main characters were all the same. Maybe a few new friends and associates but my "why" was always the same.

In the past 3 years everything has changed for me. My Grandma passed, I moved to Los Angeles, I got married, my step father passed and it honestly feels like i've been divorced from my past.

No one that I see on a regular basis has known me prior to 2020 ish.

So for me, this waiting period of unseen elevation is a strange one for me because everything around me is so new. No complaints, but it is what it is.

Anywho! If any of you are experiencing a "waiting season" right now. I encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your understanding". Be bold in your praise and be confident in the Lord. And instead of worrying, operate in the knowing that God is about to show up and show out!

What you do while you wait will dictate. If you are hopeful, patient, and confident in God then your outcome will be exceedingly more than you can ask or think! As our definition tells us we are "officially in court"! Begin pleading your case to God.

Father you said to trust you and you will direct my paths, Lord you said the prayers of the righteous availeth much! Father you said speak life and seek ye the kingdom first

Speak God's language.

Waiting is your designated time in front of God. So, use it wisely, plead your case

and get your breakthrough.

Because you deserve to live A GREAT LIFE.
