IT'S A BEAUTIFUL LIFE

Lately, I have had the pleasure of becoming aware of all the beauty life has to offer. And the funny thing is, I've seen her in unlikely places and moments.

Growing up in Columbus, Ohio; I have had the pleasure of seeing and partaking in many facets of life. I've seen poor, rich, addiction, redemption and hopelessness. I've been the brunt of selfishness and have even partaken in her less than desirable ways. I've seen admiration, hate, determination and depression. I have even become victim to the sound of anxiety, the sound of insecurity and have seen them reflected in the eyes of those I love most or have called friend.

Yeah... Life has a way of throwing us many curve balls. And in most cases it is easy to perceive the hard moments as a negative feature of the world and personally I could most definitely live without some of those unGodly characters.

But! I have had the pleasure of becoming aware of ALL the beauty life has to offer. And the funny thing is, I've seen her in unlikely places and moments.

The Unlikely Places

Think of life as one beautifully curated film about a saint who fell down time and time again but through God's grace has the will to get back up over and over and over and over and over and over again. A life of redemption and the impossibility of perfection. A life where Love is embedded in every nick - and - cranny, yet the main character is blind to it because she / or he is tasked to maneuver through the dream with a veil over their eyes.

All in the name of getting to the finish line of Grace and Eternal life.

The Test of life is a beautiful one because it requires us to distinguish between the Good & The Evil of men and within. It requires us to become conformed to the Spirit and not of the world. The test of life shapes us, challenges us, and molds us for his Glory to one day be able to be back in his presence where we belong. Where we were originally curated.

This life is not a race, but instead a marathon because the evil in "man" runs deeper than we can imagine or fathom. It is found in ambition, greed, the hunger for power, depressive states, anxiousness, anger, addictions, flattery, vanity, and more. Therefore, we must be WILLING to deal with ourselves in order to be set a part.

THE FINALE

So, the next time you get agitated or decide to act ugly in a situation don't beat yourself up or feel guilty about it because that is all a part of the test of life. Instead analyze and ask yourself "Why your first instinct was to react that way?". Then grow from it, let it go and move past it. Or the next time you find yourself depressed, anxious, angry or simply dwelling in any fleshly fruit ask yourself WHY? Then grow from it, let it go and move past it.

The Beauty of life is that through it we are able to be conformed back to God's original plan for our likeness in his image. It is an infinite chance to get it right. To choose righteousness over worldliness.

Which means every test is for your good, all the pain is for your growth, all the hurt is for your awareness and Love is always surrounding you.

It's a beautiful life indeed, because it's curated to make us GREAT!

Because you deserve to live a Great Life.
