The Heart Of A Servant.

What's up beautiful people! And welcome back to another WORD UP WEDNESDAY!!! We Lit! lol. It's funny because on the path to purpose on purpose there are so many lessons and adjustments that have to be made. One of which we will talk about today in this BLOG!

SERVITUDE!

The heart of a servant has been a major motion picture in my spirit lately. In life I have pursued many things but I wanted the glory for them. Meaning, my main point of ambition derived from how others would perceive and praise me. In those moments of time that seemed to be ok, I mean who doesn't want notoriety for their works?!?

But, as God molds me into his intended version of me I hear whispers and drops of wisdom into my spirit saying "Let go of the glory". You see, wanting the glory leads us into places and spaces that aren't always best for us. It also puts us around others that are highly sufficient in similar works. This simply leads to performing constantly for talented people that want the glory.

In other words let me give you a visual! Imagine a room filled with talented singers and musicians going on stage one at a time singing and dancing for the glory and praise. Over and over again. Where are they going? What is the real goal here? Instead of having a heart of servitude and wanting to simple share and perfect their gifts for the benefit and deliverance of others. They are locking themselves in a small bubble with others and will never be fulfilled because operating from a place of seeking praise for your talents will always lead to operating from a place of seeking praise for your talents.

How is this sustainable? Honestly, it's not but, many people get stuck in these places. Which means they never grow past that one glorious moment in time. They will always maintain the same look, sound, stories, and over all path. A circular path that begins and ends in the same place.

Seeking Glory creates "Cycles" and who wants to live in a cycle? I know I don't! LOL.

ANYWAYS! God has revealed to me in his ever so gracious, calming and glorious tone that I must never operate from a place of "seeking Glory". For Glory is not mine to seek, it is not even mine to have, it doesn't belong to me! The Glory of God reigns forever with God and only God.

Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips. - Proverbs 27:2

In all that I do! I must come into that place and space with the heart of a servant! God works through the purest of heart postures and it is my deepest desire to be used by God in the most peculiar ways. And he will do it! He is doing it! But, relinquishing the need to be seen, co signed and recognized must always be flushed away.

Every where you go, Everything you do,

may the heart of a servant dwell within you!

Because you deserve to live a great life!

Thank You so very much for taking the time to read my BLOG! May God open your heart and eyes accordingly. Till next time! Peace!
