What's up beautiful people! And welcome back to another Word Up Wednesday!!! Your Mid - Week Dose of Inspo!
I want to acknowledge that there was no Blog last week because I was sick. I had a bad case of the flu and am still recovering lol but! Glory to God and with all of the efforts of my husband I am so much better.
So, Today I want to talk about the power of being willing to receive ! Now we always hear about how God loves a Joyful giver and even this time of year is considered the "Giving" season and yes, I agree we should give if that makes sense for you.
But being sick for a long period of time really opens your eyes to the importance of being willing to simply "RECEIVE" over and over again. And I want you to remember that the humility of the Lord is shown through a warm recipient.
I say this because when I got ill my husband immediately stepped in ready to do everything under the sun! Laundry, dishes, food, medicine everything! But apparently my will was getting in the way because instead of completely surrendering to my condition I was trying to maintain as if I didn't need help. In other words I was in the way and wasn't allowing him to Give. Which was actually making me sicker. So, when he brought this to my attention I threw in the towel and let him do everything and from that moment forward everything began to shift.
My medicine schedule was set, my appetite started coming back, he prayed over my mind so the next day I could think clearer and what felt like torture became rest.
Sometimes, we can be in the way of our blessings when it's time to receive because we just wanna keep doing what we want to do or know to do or simply won't surrender to the circumstance.
Letting Go and letting God has its many forms and many fashions so, during this season of "giving" don't forget to position yourself to receive as well.
Because You Deserve to Live A Great Life! And people Love you and are praying for you so let that guard down, put down that cape and surrender to the magic of our Father's birthday season!
God Bless, Don't Stress, It's Paris!
