I must say that as I sit here at my newly discovered French bakery in DTLA I am feeling on top of the world filled with possibility, willingness, grace... and you know what?!? I am reveling in it unapologetically because it is my portion.
My God is so good that His thoughts of me are prosperity, hope and a future. So it's only natural that as I sit here writing today's "Word Up Wednesday" blog that I share the good news with you and remind you of God's thoughts over your life and that anything spoken in your mind of evil and discouraging nature should be casted down.
Gods Word
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. - Jeremiah 29:11
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ, - 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
Continuing my point......
He even reminds us to renew our minds daily so that we can operate in this knowing all the days of our life.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. - Romans 12:2
Hello! it's me again!
Imagine living in world where the only thoughts you gave weight to were of Prosperity, Hope, and a Future. Good and not evil. I mean you would be absolutely unstoppable! absolutely incapable of failure because failure doesn't exist in a mind that only gives life to thoughts of Truth. God's Truth to be exact.
Final Thoughts
I don't know about you but I am deeply in awe of His blissful nature and His capacity to remain the same no matter what! Gods Love and thoughts are absolutely unconditional and our imperfections are not a swaying factor for Him. There's no shame, guilt or regret in His mindset for us and because of this I am simply in awe.
Honestly, it's safe to say that this level of adoration leaves me no choice but to desire His thoughts in all that I do and to cast down any thoughts that aren't a reflection of Him and His nature.
Today I encourage you to do the same and remember God's thoughts of you! His thoughts are to prosper you, to give you hope and a future. His thoughts are Love and Abundance. Good and not Evil. His thoughts are blissful and pure.
So, as you finish out your week and embark in the greatness that you are remember to cast down any thought that is not a reflection of Him.
