What's up amazing ladies! And welcome to another Word Up Wednesday Blog!
I pray your week thus far has been blessed, fulfilling and filled with grace.
So, I have to tell you what happened to me the other day........
A few days ago I decided to walk to a thrift store near my house to get some Christmas decorations. Now, everytime I walk over there, there's a drug dealer that's always posted up near the store asking any and everyone "Need anything? Weed, pills, etc.."
So, if I notice him there I choose to avoid him at all costs.
Getting to the store was perfection because I had no encounter with this person, but when I came out the store with my shopping bag I saw him and I thought to myself "dang!". lol
I was like maybe if I just avoid eye contact, so I kept walking and looking straight............... but here he comes all the way to the middle of the wide side walk and before he could say anything I said "No, I don't do that and you shouldn't be asking people anyway, it's not right".
So he says "Well, i'm going to ask everyday! Because today is a new day".
In others words, he don't care who or what the person looks like, believes in, says yes, or says no! Because in his eyes a new day is a new opportunity! He aint thinking about being rejected, that don't phase him.
Ya'll, I kept walking in pure disbelief lol. But then I thought to myself! This young man doing the work of the adversary has more faith in his doings than most Christians in the world! I said this man/spirit ain't got nothing to lose but everything to gain!
Now, I don't agree with what he's pushing out there, but the lesson was very relevant! Today is a new day and a "no" today could be a "yes" tomorrow. A shut door today, could fly open tomorrow. The money that's not there today, could be in your mailbox tomorrow!
Let's rid ourselves of the fear that rejection brings. Our God can do exceeding
abundantly above all we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us!
Build up that faith, build up your consistency, build up your boldness, build up your confidence in the Lord! Don't let demons have more capacity than you do!
Because you Deserve to Live A Great Life!
Let me know in the Comments below how rejection has impacted your life! It's time to change this narrative.
Great message. Let our Faith be strong! We serve a mighty God!
